" Eagles Journey" by Raymond
Gibby 15.5" h x 21" w x 7" d
As a person travels through life, he
or she learns, grows, and discovers his or her potential. The base
of "An Eagle's Journey" depicts a bobcat, a wolf, and a bear. Pound
for pound, the bobcat exhibits more inner power than most in the
animal kingdom. The wolf has learned there is success in numbers and
in working as a team and a family. The bear is the ultimate example
of strength. Each animal represents progressing levels of
achievement. Resting on the back of the base, an "Arrow of Light" on
a buckskin robe represents the need for us to fly straight and true
as instruments in the hands of our Creator. The eagle is our
ultimate goal. The eagle in its journey flies high until becoming
part of the heavens.
